Hope Lost

Hope Lost? Darkness
I have never liked the dark! When I was a little girl, I would sleep with a night light ( or two). My mind would run wild as darkness crept into my bedroom.

In the light of day, the things in my room didn't seem as threatening, however, when those things became shadows, that's a whole other story.

Good Friday started out like any other Friday. The sun came up over the Earth, people went about their normal jobs, however, the air was different.

This was the day that justice was unjust.
The day that the crowd sentenced an innocent man to death.
The day that perfection left the Earth.

Darkness came.

When we look around the world today, it is easy to become blinded by the darkness that constantly surround us.

The people watching the crucifixion were now living in a unique darkness.  They were living in a darkness that they had never or will never experience again.

We are living in a unique time that can feel dark, scary and confusing. Know that you are not alone.

The Light has come. We do not need to live in the darkness any longer.
