Englewood Christian Church started in 1958 with a simple calling: follow Jesus and make Him known in our neighborhood. What began as a small group gathering in Englewood has grown into a church committed to helping people believe in His Son, belong to His family, become His disciples, and build His Kingdom.

Over the years, God has used our church to plant new churches, invest in leaders, and serve communities locally and around the world. But our heart hasn’t changed—we’re still a neighborhood church with a passion for people to know the God who loves them. 

Today, we’re stepping into a bigger vision: to model Christ in our neighborhood of the nations. That means lifting up the Lord, living in God’s love, and looking out for the lost—right here in Jacksonville and beyond. 
As our community grows more diverse, so do we. We’re becoming a multicultural, multilingual church where people from every background can find a place to belong and encounter Jesus.

This isn’t just our story—it’s one God is still writing.
