Plan your visit
We want your first visit to feel easy.
Whether you've been around church for years or you're walking through the doors for the first time, you're welcome here.
Here's what you can expect from the walk or drive up to the specifics of a worship service.

Where to find us...
Englewood Christian Church is located in a neighborhood! Specifically, we're on the corner of Barnes Road and Betty Ann Lane in the Englewood area of Jacksonville, FL. There are two parking lots - one on Barnes Rd and one behind the church. If both of those lots are full, we're welcome to park at Englewood High School right next door.
No matter where you park, you can enter one of the open gates leading in from the parking lots, or you can enter the doors closest to the worship center under the covered portico (off Betty Ann Ln). There are a few visitor spots close to those doors if you get here early enough!

How to get around...
Throughout the church are wayfinding signs, pointing you in the direction of our six buildings (Worship Center, Fellowship Hall, Warehouse, 100 Building, 200 Building, and 300 Building), all of which are connected by covered breezeways.

Where to go for the worship service...
- The English service is located in the Worship Center.
- The Spanish/English service is located in the Warehouse. Songs and messages are in both Spanish and English with live translation every week.
Second Sundays
Despite having two different services, we are one church. We celebrate this by worshiping together in a combined bilingual worship service once a month, usually the second Sunday - Segundo Domingo. We sing in both English and Spanish. The message is typically in English, with either in ear translation or live translation.

What to expect during the service...
- There’s no dress code here. Come as you are! Some people dress up, some dress casually, and most fall somewhere in between. Wear whatever makes you comfortable.
- Our worship is contemporary, with occasional hymns and elements that reflect our Christian heritage. You’ll find people from different generations, cultures, and backgrounds worshiping together. Whatever the style, our goal is simple: to turn our attention toward Jesus and worship Him together.
- We take communion every week. You can find baskets with individual communion cups with juice and a wafer in the worship center and in the lobby. There are little buckets on each row for your trash.
- Our messages are biblical and practical. We believe God's Word is relevant to everyday life.
- We’re a friendly church, and we’d love for you to stick around after the service to meet someone new. Or come early and get a free cup of coffee from the cafe by the Warehouse!

Where to go for questions...
The Cove is your place to connect with ECC. Get information about the church and upcoming events. Ask a question. Sign up for a Sunday school class or register for something fun. Fill out a connect card and more. The Cove is located in the lobby outside the Worship Center.

What about the kids...
We love having families worship together! Children are always welcome in the worship service, and we also offer age-appropriate children's ministry for kids from birth through 5th grade. Middle school and high school students are in the worship service. On every fifth Sunday, K-5th join "big church" for Family Sunday.
If you choose to have your kids experience children's ministry, follow the signs for Nursery or for eCity Kids! We'll help you get signed in.

What about Sunday School and Wednesday Nights...
We meet for Sunday School at 9:00am each week and we'd love for you to join us! Check out what classes are being offered for adults here.
During the school year, we gather on Wednesday nights. It's a great opportunity for the whole family to connect and grow. Kids explore the Bible, students gather for youth group shenanigans and age appropriate messages, and adults dive deeper into God's Word. Wednesday nights also include an English class for the community. We know life is busy, so we make an inexpensive dinner available for those who sign up in advance. Whether you're looking to grow in your faith, connect with others, or simply spend time with our church family, there's a place for you on Wednesday nights!
