Meet the ministry staff

Pete Ramsey

Senior Minister
Pete served as the youth minister at ECC back in the day and has been serving in the senior minister role since December 2017. He is a true servant leader and will never ask someone to do something that he isn't willing to do himself. His coffee order is always a peppermint mocha. 

Heather Ramsey

Children's Ministry Director
Heather has been officially serving in children's ministry since October 2022. However, she served as a volunteer long before that. Heather doesn't drink coffee (sacrilegious), but she enjoys an occasional vanilla chai.

Andy Aguilar

Multicultural Pastor
Andy is from Chile and has been on the team since January 2026. He leads the multicultural ministry with passion and brings the personal experience of being an international in Jacksonville to his role. He drinks his coffee black, usually from his cousin's roaster. 

Bryson Haynes

Family Pastor
Coming soon...
We are excited to have Bryson join the ECC team later this year as our family pastor. We will have to bring him to the dark side of coffee drinking when he gets here!

Karissa Mead

Worship Ministry Director
Karissa has been a part of ECC since March 2019. She brings with her strong leadership and an ability to empower and encourage others. Karissa is in true worship leader fashion opinionated about her coffee and varies her order, but it is always bougie.

Get to know the people who serve behind the scenes, supporting our staff and church family. 

Linda Grone

Bookkeeper
Linda is the patron saint of keeping up with our finances and doing things with efficiency. She joined the team in June 2026. She has a heart for missions and the church. She enjoys good coffee and makes hers from a French press.

Angela Martin

Office Manager
Angela herds the cats known as ECC staff and has been keeping the office running since August 2018. She loves this church family! Her perfect cup of coffee is freshly ground from peaberry beans from Kona, Hawaii with coconut flavored creamer (also bougie).

Meet the elders and deacons

Meet the men who serve the church day in and day out.

Jonathan Duffer

Deacon
Jonathan, aka Duffer, aka Bongo Jon, aka Bongo, serves nearly every week on the worship team as the percussionist. He has been a part of ECC since moving to Jacksonville in 2020. Duffer drinks his coffee iced, blended, lactose-free, through a straw, with hardly any coffee taste whatsoever, and slowly enough that it lasts the entire day and irrationally exasperates anyone who notices.

Robert Lee

Deacon-Treasurer
Robert has been an integral part of ECC since he got married in 1990. In addition to serving as a deacon and the treasurer, he serves on the missions team and in the nursery. Robert is a non-coffee drinker and admits he doesn't know how to use the coffee maker at home. But if you see him on vacation, don't be surprised to see him with a café con leche or Cuban coffee.

Christopher Mead

Deacon
Chris was a baby in the ECC nursery! He grew up here, loves this church and loves the Englewood community. He has a heart for the youth and a gift of leadership and administration. He drinks his coffee with just a dollop of milk, and he will never say no to a vanilla caramel latte. 

Phil Wallace

Deacon
Phil has lived in Jacksonville since 1994 and will serve anywhere you ask. He and his wife exude generosity and service. Phil drinks two cups of coffee every morning with a touch of French Vanilla creamer.  

Keith Vincent

Elder
Keith has been a part of the ECC family since childhood. He loves this neighborhood and shows it through encouragement and cooking. He drinks his daily coffee with sweet cream from the house in a Yeti, and you might occasionally find him sipping a French Vanilla Cappuccino.
